The Wedding Gown and You

Everyone tells you the you need to diet and workout to fit into your dream wedding gown. While that is usually true, be careful not to over do it.

When polling the bridal boutiques and designers that we have worked with in the past, the biggest problems they encounter are with brides who diet and workout. Surprising, we know. It makes sense though because brides are the ones who are expected to look absolutely stunning, so it would of course make sense that brides would be frantic to, well, look absolutely stunning. That of course involves dieting, working out and usually, unintentionally, stressing out about it all. That’s why it seems so much easier for mothers of the bride and groom and the bridal party to fit perfectly into their gowns. They don’t worry like a bride does!

Bridezillas, Whose Wedding Is It Anyway, Wedding Belles. All these television shows portray brides as anal-retentive monsters. But we all know that brides are far from that! Every bride just wants her special day to be perfect. Now, everyone involved more than likely wants taht as well, but with so much happening and so many things to keep in check, miscommunication can happen and misunderstandings are common.
