So what is everyone else saying about the new bridal line? Take a look:
- Designer Kirstie Kelly: “Looking like Cinderella is probably something they never considered before they got engaged, but then the traditional side almost always comes out. It’s hard to resist romance and sparkle”; “Every look takes its inspiration from the silhouette, palette and icons of each Disney Princess story and interprets the spirit of each young woman”; “Each of them has a unique, charming and very individual style that many brides can identify with, and now truly emulate, on their wedding day.”
- Chairman of Disney Consumer Products Worldwide Andy Mooney: “If you think about who the first person who teaches you about love, romance and Prince Charming is, it probably happened between the ages of 2-5 and included Disney.”
- Knot editor-in-chief Carley Roney: “[T]he success of this line all depends on the dress design,…The Disney brand has a strong, positive, emotional meaning for a surprising number of people - consider the couples who choose to get married at Disney. But I see these ‘Disneyphiles’ as being a relatively small group. As to the women who have no real Disney brand loyalty, if the dress designs are strong enough, they will probably overlook the brand association.”
- Brides magazine editor-in-chief Millie Martini Bratten: “I think it plays into a lot of other things that Disney has done in general to expand what people already love (and) the service they get,…They are offering different types of weddings for different budgets and … they have the resources and the imagination and the focus to attract the higher-end weddings.”

Hi, I am getting married in about 2 years but I will DEFINITELY be getting the champagne colored belle inspired gown because I am absolutely obsessed with Disney and I think that dress it gorgeous. My whole wedding is going to be a Beauty and the Beast theme and I am just very grateful that these gowns will be available before my wedding!

[…] So sometime today, someone had uttered the words “wedding” and “Disney” and it dawned on me!! And what did my resourceful self do? GOOGLED IT! =) And might I add that, I truly thought that the gowns would be brightly colored costume-like frocks, fit for a costume ball rather than an elegant wedding that I intend to have in teh future…I was (gratefully) wrong! They’re actually very chic and sexy! =) This site has a plethora of pics so instead of bogging down my memory space on my Blogger, here’s the link for those who are interested: BrideFu - Disney Wedding […]
