An Easy Morning for the Newlyweds

Now here is a contraption that I totally love and would absolutely give as a wedding gift! Everyone knows the typical mornings of working professionals: busy, busy, which usually translates to no breakfast or at best an unhealthy one. While a gourmet chef it’s not, this little puppy can put a healthier meal into the busy mornings of the newlyweds in your life. It has a sleek design that would work well in any new home (it also comes in white). I’ve got one at home and it gets used everyday! [Oh did I mention it’s quick to cook and easy to clean? Perfect for me, the anti-cleaning queen!] So basically it’s a two-for-one, toaster and egg poacher/warmer type thing. If you ask me, definitely a great wedding gift! Check it out here at Back to Basics!

To Give or Not to Give This Wedding Gift

To Give or Not to Give This Wedding Gift

As far as wedding gifts go, cookware, bakeware, stemware, barware are all normal and wonderfully appreciated gifts to give (and awesome to receive)! And what foodie bride and groom wouldn’t love to have more and more kitchen gear? However, I’m not just sure about this particular set from Le Creuset as a wedding gift. Don’t get me wrong, I love Le Creuset for their awesome and beautifully sophisticated products! But, this all heart ensemble, for me, a smidge much. Although, I’m sure that with the pots, it really wouldn’t matter what shape they are when you’re cooking your first dinner party as newlyweds but would you give this as a wedding gift? Cheesy but it’s cute though! Your thoughts?

Check out a few of our favorite places to get awesome kitchen gear!

Great Luxurious Gifts for Wedding Party

Great Luxurious Gifts for Wedding Party

We love these little luxurious-bath-in-a-ball darlings! They come in some awesome scent combinations that work to either calm or awake or soothe any bride or bridesmaid. And there are some very unique scent combinations and interestingly named ones, such as our favorite: Sakura! This awesome one is a great combination of citrus and floral scents that stay on you for a long time! Looking at it, one would be worried about the colors in the ball. But don’t worry, the water stays clear. No gross cleanup for a bridesmaid on the go!

Who would we suggest giving these to? Well as a part of thank you gifts for your bridesmaids, these would be awesome to add to a custom-made “Thank you for being a part of our wedding” gift to your bridesmaids and you can personalize them to each bridesmaids’ liking! Or you can give them as bridal shower favors! What woman wouldn’t like a bit of pampering? Beautiful skin treatment and lovely scents all in one ball. Fun stuff too because rather than just sink, they fizz like champagne with tiny bubbles, some with flower petals or even confetti (with those, put them in nylon tights first).

So check out these awesome gift items for either your wedding party thank you gifts or bridal shower favors or for whatever occasion at the Lush website!

For those crafty types, here’s a recipe to make your own bath balls!
